Ask your assistant about your celebration

Connect Voya Life to ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor and ask about RSVPs, chase the guests who haven’t replied, and check the run sheet — without opening the dashboard.

Set it up

  1. 1
    Open Settings → Connectors

    In ChatGPT, go to Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector. You’ll need a plan that includes connectors.

    Paste the Voya Life server URL

    Give it the name Voya Life and the MCP URL below.

    Sign in and approve

    ChatGPT sends you here to sign in. You’ll see exactly what it’s asking for before you approve — and nothing happens until you do.

    Ask it something

    Try “How are RSVPs looking?” or “Who hasn’t replied yet?”

What it can and can’t do

A connected assistant is you, with less reach — never more.

It can
  • See your guest list and who still hasn't replied
  • Read the schedule, run sheet and what's happening now
  • Draft and send invitations or announcements — with your say-so
  • Check budgets, payments and who owes whom
It can’t
  • See a celebration you don't have access to
  • Do anything your own role can't — view-only stays view-only
  • Read a guest's phone number or email if your role can't
  • Delete a celebration

Questions

Does this give ChatGPT my password?
No. You sign in on a Voya Life page and approve a specific list of permissions. ChatGPT never sees your password, and you can cut it off at any time from Settings.
Can it see celebrations I'm not part of?
No. Every request runs as you. It sees exactly what you’d see signed in on the web, and nothing else — the same permission checks apply.
Can it change things without asking?
It can only do what you approved. Anything that sends a message to real guests is a separate permission, and the assistant will tell you before it sends.
What if I share a celebration with a co-host?
Their connection is theirs. Disconnecting yours doesn’t affect them, and vice versa.
How do I disconnect it?
Go to Settings → Connected apps and choose Disconnect. Access stops immediately.
